Meet The Board
Caseyville Public Library District Board of Trustees
Bob Paarlberg has lived in Caseyville for 30+ years with his wife Linda and 2 sons, Jason and Joshua. He has served on the Library Board for the last 3 years as Trustee, Vice President and President. In addition, Bob has served as lay leader, choir member, finance chairman and trustee chairman of the Caseyville United Methodist Church. Outside of Caseyville, he is either serving or has served as Board member of Illinois Heartland Library System, Board member of St. Louis Baseball Forever, advisory boards of SIUE School of Business, Washington University School of Computer Science and Technology, and the Harvard Business Review. Bob started his career in accounting as an auditor and then transitioned to computer technology. He ended his corporate career as Chief Information Officer for Royster-Clark, a $1B agricultural corporation. Over the years Bob has received many awards including CIO Magazine Top 100 Global Leaders, and Information Week Top 500 (3 times) and has authored many journal articles and book chapters on technology portfolio management. The one career that Bob has kept in a low profile is, in the late 60's, he was a pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. Currently Bob is the CEO of Agricultural Intelligence, a Chicago based data research firm, and isResearch, a local web developer.

My name is Kelly Kosa. Currently I work at Missouri Analytical in St. Louis testing pharmaceutical stability samples. It's a very unique small family owned lab. Prior to this I was at Mallinckrodt for almost 8 years where I worked in quality, testing imaging agents and drug chemical samples. My last role there was as support chemist for the Acetaminophen plant in Raleigh NC.
For four years I taught school. I had everything from seniors at the top of their class for physics and chemistry down to seventh and eighth graders for physical and life sciences. I even taught spelling and religion at one point and I'll freely admit spelling was my worst subject in grade school.
My original degree is a bachelor's in biology. I went back after graduation and got my certification to teach most of the sciences for middle school and high school.
For fun I enjoy camping on the weekends with friends, reading (obviously), and sleeping in and napping when time permits. I do still enjoy gardening but with four dogs seems likes a losing battle anymore, much like trying to brush your teeth while you’re in the middle of eating Oreos. I've lived in the same place for 44 years (yes I know boring). One day I'd love to get a house and make it my own.
