HOURS OF OPERATION

Mon, Tues, Wed       11:00am - 6:00pm

Thurs                         11:00am - 8:00pm

Fri, Sat                        10:00am - 2:00pm

Sun                             Closed

* During the COVID 19 pandemic, the library closes

at 5:30 pm on the 2nd Wednesday each month for

the Library Board meetings. This allows library staff

to disinfect all surfaces to ensure the safety and

wellbeing of all library visitors.

The Caseyville Public District Library maintains consistent, posted hours of service during which all services of the Caseyville Public Library District are available to patrons:

349 days per year

64 hrs/week M-Sat

Closed Sunday

 

The book drop is available for the return of all material during the hours the library is closed.

Library hours are subject to change and the Library may close due to severe inclement weather or other unforeseen emergencies.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Caseyville Public Library is to provide all members of the community with access to materials that will aid them in their educational and recreational endeavors. Special emphasis shall be placed on supporting elementary and secondary students in meeting their formal education needs and upon developing a collection of popular, high-demand materials.

ILLINOIS HEARTLAND LIBRARY SYSTEM (IHLS)

Who We Are

The Illinois Heartland Library System (IHLS) is a not-for-profit library system providing delivery and automation (online catalog software) to the libraries of southern and parts of central Illinois, as well as certain grant program services, such as the Cataloging Maintenance Center to libraries statewide.
