Tax Forms

The Caseyville Public Library has tax forms available. These include paper copies and instructions of the following:
- Form IL-1040, Illinois Individual Income Tax Return
- Schedule IL-E/EIC, Illinois Exemption and Earned Income Credit
- Schedule ICR, Illinois Credits
- Schedule IL-WIT, Illinois Income Tax Withheld
You can click the form you want and print off a copy. You can also utilize library computers to print the forms you need.
The IRS is also sending out a limited number of instruction booklets this year. Booklets can also be found online and printed off if necessary.

Taxpayers can file Illinois Individual Income Tax returns for free using MyTax Illinois, available at mytax.illinois.gov.
IRS Free File lets you prepare and file your federal income tax online for free. File at an IRS partner site with the IRS Free File Program (income $73,000 and below) or use Free File Fillable Forms. It's safe, easy and no cost to you. Visit: irs.gov/freefile
The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.
The VITA program has operated for over 50 years, offering free tax help to:
- People who generally make $60,000 or less
- Persons with disabilities
- Limited English-speaking taxpayers
