Library Moving & Construction Updates

Moving & Setting up the New Library

Caseyville Public Library District is moving into a new building right next to our current building. While we pack up the library, in early February, we will still offer limited services, including book/item pick-ups, computer use, printing, faxing, and scanning. After February 17th, the library will be closed to the public as we move to the new building.

While our construction team works on creating a new parking lot and finishing the building’s exterior, in April and early May, we will be setting up the library, furnishing the building, and finishing the interior design. Librarians will still be available to answer your questions during the move.

New Library Grand Opening

Once the library siding is complete and the new parking lot is done, we will open to the public. The grand opening for the new library will be announced in Spring 2024, and it is expected to take place mid-May to early June, depending on how long the construction takes. Follow us on social media and check our website for the latest news and updates.
