Food Pantry
We might not always know if our neighbors are going hungry, but we can still help. Let's keep Caseyville families fed and warm this winter. 2020 was a tough year, and food pantry use is still at a high. During the summer time, the community garden run by Caseyville Library and CMC Rotary provides fresh and healthy produce to our Caseyville Emergency Pantry. In the off season, however, we ask our community for assistance. We are continuing to accept nonperishables and dry goods at the library. Food donated goes directly to Caseyville families that need it most. If you have any extra to spare, consider donating with Caseyville Library.
Pet Food Drive
We want to help keep pets with their families and out of the animal shelters, this is why in addition to assisting the food pantry, Caseyville Library is collecting pet food and supplies for the pantry and for our community partner Gateway Pet Guardians Pet Food Bank. You can bring in pet food of all varieties as well as treats, leashes, toys, blankets, and other accessories.
Coats and Warm Clothing for Kahok Closet
Help a family stay warm this winter by donating at the library. Did you know Kahok closet isn't just for Collinsville kids? It also benefits area families of students. Consider donating new or gently used warm clothing such as coats, hats, mittens, scarves, and blankets. All sizes are accepted, but children's sizes are especially appreciated.
Set up a donation time by calling CPLD at 618-345-5848.

We hope you enjoy these library features as much as we do!
